Starmie

Number 121, Starmie! I originally drew this for a drawing I was doing of Misty, but it turned out awful and now I'm just thinking of scrapping it. But I liked my Starmie, so I decided to use it for my Gotta Draw em All challenge. It took a little while, but I finally got on a roll with it and finished. Getting the gem just right was difficult, but I think I like how it turned out more or less. 

EDIT: Finally settled on some kind of background I'm actually somewhat happy with, and now I can say I'm (probably) finished with this one. I know it's simple, but at the time of writing this I'm awful at painting water, so this will have to do.
EDIT 2: I discovered a magical way to make something pop. A white outline! I also re-did the bubbles. Again.
