Metapod is Evolving!

EDIT: I adjusted the colors a bit because they looked way too light and faded. Darkened Metapod and the background and lightened the Butterfree. Just fixing a few things here and there.

Metapod evolving into Butterfree! For my Pokemon Drawing Challenge I decided to draw Metapod evolving because that's basically it's whole purpose in life (as a Metapod). It's the stage of growth and evolution every Caterpie must go through before it can sprout wings and fly. It's a pivotal time in the life of a young bug transitioning from a baby caterpillar to a fully grown butterfly.

I didn't really know how to do the light, but I think I did okay. I like how I did Metapod, and I might try something similar for Kakuna.
